Girl! My big sister—my blood, my keeper, and best friend on
the entire planet… It took me up
until this day to finally understand your hand writing in my journal. LOL Gawd,
girl !!! Of course, I know you are a brilliant writer so I can pick with you
publically about this. ;-) Although it wasn’t your grammar; reading it was like
deciphering written lines of tired and fancy rush of ancient code. I’ve
interpreted Hebrew in seminary that wasn’t as challenging. I literally laughed
out loud at how I still cannot make
out some words because they are so artistically drawn. Then, I realized that
the night you wrote it, we were up late and arose early in the wee small hours
of the morning for the presidential inauguration. It was, however still pretty
funny to read. BTW, the President should compensate all of us folks who never
got in, yet waited in the cold with some form of compassion payment. I don’t
know, I’m still waiting on my 40 acres and a mule. That could work.
Any who, of your many travels, Costa Rica should be a ‘must
visit’ on your list of places to go. I know you just came back form Latin
America, but Jaco (pronounced Ha-koh)
is amazing and great for tourists. I think you’d love it there. You can also
visit the Caribbean side of the country, or the beaches near Nicaragua, but
these are places where you mustn’t drink the local water. Take my word. LOL If
you do go to the Caribbean, you’ll enjoy a meshing of cultures and a variety of
Black and Latin mix music, where Calypso, Reggae, and Reggaeton are the
frequent hot plays of the local bands. The food is unique and delicious.
I’m sure mom, wouldn’t approve, but my favorite scene has
been the acceptability and accessibility of motorcycles. I can’t tell you how much
I miss riding! I think I have become at least familiar enough with the area
where I live to go for a short joy ride. Perhaps my host family will hook me up
with a joy ride before I go. We’ll see. If so, I would have completed my list
of things I want do in CR. :-D
Any who, I'm glad you’re in my corner, ma’am! And I have no
problem with tossing the torch of admiration back and forth between the two of
us. I am truly proud of YOU! Hopefully, me you mom, and Flo-B will make it out
to Brazil or CR on a girl’s trip soon.
Wishing you many many blessings, fun tequila shots, and a
magic button that mysteriously grants you one wish per day (just one—we can’t
have you going crazy now, can we)
PS Don’t let the bastards get you down!
I love you tremendously, sis.
